What should my child wear to soccer? 

Each child is encouraged to wear their Soccer Shots jersey, though it’s not required. Comfortable clothing and sneakers that they can run around will work just fine! No special equipment is necessary. 

What does my child need to bring to soccer? 

Just a water bottle and a can-do attitude Our coaches will have all the necessary equipment for the session and no special equipment is necessary for you to bring. 

What happens if it rains? 

We play in the rain. All weather cancellation decisions will be made on the day of class. We will do our best to make the call 2 hours before class time. On rare occasions classes may need to be cancelled at a moment’s notice and sometimes even during a session when there is unpredictable weather. The safety of our players is our number 1 priority. In the case of inclement weather, we will hold class on one of our pre-scheduled make up days. We will notify all class cancellations via email, text message and on social media. 

The class I want is sold out, can I still join? 

Unfortunately, we aren’t able to add spots to sold-out classes. This allows us to preserve the quality and safety of the session. However, you can always join the waitlist and enroll in your second-choice slot in the meantime. 

I paid the annual enrollment fee within the last year, will I have to pay it again? 

The annual enrollment fee of $40 is due once per year per child. To determine whether or not it is being charged, please move to the final step in the checkout process. If you believe you paid the annual enrollment fee within the last year and it is still appearing as a charge at the final step of checkout, please send us an email so we can help! My child’s friends are enrolled in the same session. Will they be in the same group? 

Depending on the session size, we sometimes split the attendance sheets into two different sessions. To avoid your child and their friends being split up, please email [email protected] and let us know. Requests made after the first week of the season may not be accommodated. 

Policies

Attendance 

There will be NO refunds or credits for non-attendance at a scheduled session. This includes sessions missed due to personal reasons, iffy weather, etc. We do our best to offer makeup options for families who miss up to two sessions. Makeup Sessions We allow two makeup sessions per season per child. These must be completed within the same season of the missed session. To schedule a makeup, please email [email protected] . Makeup sessions may take place at a different location, day, and/or time than your regularly scheduled session. We cannot guarantee available makeup sessions. 

Enrollment Fee & Jersey 

The enrollment fee is non-refundable. This is charged for each participant once per year. If you enroll your child in Soccer Shots to participate in anywhere from one to multiple seasons of Soccer Shots throughout a year, your child will receive a youth jersey. Youth jerseys are mailed once a year when paying the enrollment fee, regardless of the number of seasons you sign your child up for within that year. The enrollment fee is only paid once per year/365 days. Jerseys are distributed via mail and addressed to the child. You will receive tracking information once the jersey has shipped to your address. Please understand that if you enroll within two weeks of the season start date, your child is not guaranteed to receive their jersey before the first session. Should you have any questions about your child’s youth jersey shipment, or if you would like to exchange sizes, please contact [email protected]. Please note, some Soccer Shots programs do not include jerseys, such as birthday parties, demos, free play days, and school-paid sessions.

Withdrawal

Please email [email protected] to request a withdrawal. If, for any reason, you have to withdraw before the season begins we will issue a full refund less a $20 processing fee.

Refunds 

Please email [email protected] to request a refund. Weeks 1 & 2 of a season: Prorated refunds less a $20 processing fee can be issued if requested before the third scheduled session of a season. After Week 3: We cannot issue refunds or account credits after Week 2 of the season.
